What Can I expect?

We gather together every Saturday.  There is normally liturgy, singing, a Torah service, scripture readings, and some teaching. Our service is structured similar to a synagogue service but also includes lively contemporary music.  It may be longer than you are used to but we promise you will love the experience.

We encourage you to come early so our greeters can help you and our welcome table can answer any questions.

JOIN A SMALL GROUP

Nothing is better than fellowship and community, especially in the time we live in! We believe the intentional relationships you find in a small group are the ideal place to truly belong, celebrate the joys of life, weather the storms together, and become who God made you to be.

families At Adat

Children 0-3 years are welcome in our nursery with their parents during the whole service.
Children 4+ are invited to participate with their families in our main service. We believe this is a great way to disciple our families!

Note Torah Procession:  As your family feels comfortable, please bring kids to the front when the children are called forward.  We'll pray for them and give them to celebrate the joy of having God's Word in our midst.

FREQUENLTY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can Anyone Attend?
Of course!!  We are a congregation of both Jews and Gentiles that come together to worship Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah.
Our desire is to be a "house of praye for all peoples" (Isaiah 56:7)
Do I need to wear anything special?
At Adat we encourage you to come as you are. Most people attend wearing business-casual attire; some wear suits, ties and dresses and others wear jeans or shorts. God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about; it’s not about the style of clothing we choose.

We do not require tzitzit, prayer shawls, or kippas.  However, we believe in a distinction in calling between Jews and Gentiles when it comes to Jewish tradition and practice.  For example, tzitzit  are for Jews.  We don’t recommend it for Gentiles. But if Gentiles are insistent on doing it, we recommend that they do it privately and discreetly.  With prayer shawls we ask Men and Women to wear gender appropriate apparel.  We reserve kippas for men.
