Background: Saul almost caught David but was called away to a battle with the Philistines. David flees to the land of the Philistines and King Achish gives him the city of Ziklag. David and his men live there for a year and four months.
1 Sam. 28:1-3 “Saul had removed from the land those who were mediums and spiritists.”
1 Sam. 28:4-6 “When Saul inquired of the Lord, the Lord did not answer him…”
1 Sam. 28:7-19 “Seek for me a woman who is a medium, that I may go to her and inquire of her.”
1 Sam. 28:20-25 “Then Saul immediately fell full length upon the ground and was very afraid because of the words of Samuel”
